About Internet Switch Guide

As of October 21, 2026

Internet Switch Guide helps people in the United States compare home internet plans, check their current speed and switch providers without surprises.

What you can do here

Why it exists

Advertised internet prices often hide what you pay after the first year, plus equipment, setup and data-cap rules. This site puts those costs next to each other, and it labels where each price came from so you know what to double-check.

Independence

This site does not sell internet service and has no affiliate relationship with the providers listed. Links go to the providers' own pages without tracking parameters. How prices are gathered and where the data has limits is described in the methodology.

Who runs it

The site is run by Tobias Nösel (sole proprietor) in 30449 Hannover, Germany. Full details are in the Legal Notice; you can reach us on the Contact page.

Data for assistants and developers

The plan data is available as JSON, as a Markdown table and summarized in llms.txt. Prices are indicative and change often.
