Accessibility Statement
We are committed to digital accessibility and continually improving the user experience for everyone. Our goal is for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
If you experience a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this website, please tell us. Email info@freelanceboosters.com or call +49 155 66873600. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser, device or assistive technology you use. We will try to answer within a few business days and, where possible, give you the information or function in another way, for example by sending the plan data as text.
What we do
- Structure: every page has one main heading, a logical heading order, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element.
- Keyboard: everything can be used with the keyboard alone, including the comparison filters, the speed test, the calculator, the checklist, the privacy choices and the explanations that appear on the price-source labels. Focus is always visible, and Escape closes pop-ups.
- Screen readers: controls have labels, status messages (for example "28 plans match" and the speed-test progress) are announced politely, and links that open a new tab say so.
- Color and contrast: text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast in the light and the dark theme, and the site follows your system setting for light or dark. Information is never given by color alone.
- Text size and zoom: the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling at a 320 pixel wide window and at 400 percent zoom, and text follows your browser's text-size setting.
- Motion: animations are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Tables: the plan comparison is a real table with headings; on small screens each plan becomes a card with its labels.
- Touch: buttons and links have a touch target of at least 44 pixels where possible.
How we check
We test every release with the automated checker axe-core (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules and best practices) on all pages, in light and dark mode and at phone width, with the privacy banner open and closed. We also run Lighthouse accessibility audits and keyboard-only tests. Automated tools find only part of the possible problems, so we also review new features by hand.
Known limitations
- The speed test shows a graphic gauge. The same numbers are always given as text in the results panel and in the status line; the gauge itself is only a visual aid.
- Provider websites and other external sites that we link to are outside our control and may not be fully accessible.
- We have not had the site audited by a third-party accessibility expert, and we have not tested with every combination of browser and assistive technology.
Standards and legal basis
